i did make the box smaller . its only about 17 % too big now and is tuned to 31 hz

Not sure about that port clearance.

i rotated the box so the port was up and had 10 inches to breath and it played roughly the same

i was thinking it may not have enough room but the restricted port cant hurt if the box is a little too big right ?
