fecupe2001 Posted July 18, 2014 Report Share Posted July 18, 2014 Guess i was lucky then, used a pair of bxi2610D and never had any problems for about 2 years, also tested them at .5 ohms and got rated power at 14.1v and exactly 1 ohm, of course that was a burp and clamped test without taking into account efficiency, but for the price they were amazing! Lots of better options out there for sure right now, but it´s not like i wouldn´t recommend the brand or i would bash it cause for me, it worked just fine I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. I went over the thread a couple times to make sure I didn't miss it. The OPTI, I believe, is rated at 7K at half ohm, it won't get you that kind of power at 1 ohm. Let's start with the subs you either have already purchased, or the subs you PLAN to purchase. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. Jessica Posted July 18, 2014 Report Share Posted July 18, 2014 i don't know, i mean in the amp test video steve did say that dynamic burst is just like music and the hifonics did better than rated on dynamic burst. He said that the cert mode is like playing a 10 second sine wave and that it doesnt compare to real music. So take that as you will. I can't speak for the reliability of the hifonics amps. My best guess from what i have seen is people who run hifonics run shitty electrical and shitty grounds and clip them to hell and back. So if you were to spend the money on electrical and set the gains right they might actually be a durable amp.
