Screws for boxs?

2" coarse thread drywall screws work well. The screws really just serve as clamp replacements though, its the glue that holds the box together. After the glue as dried you don't even need the screws and can take them out.

triticum is correct the screws are there just to hold it together while the glue dries. I would suggest to use titebond 2 for glue. its an awesome product.

I just priced out #10x2" for .18 ¢ each or you can do #8x2 for .14¢ each

How thick is the wood? I use 3/4" MDF.. I used Spax #8 1.25" screws on the inside (kreg jig)
