Comparing a shallow mount Jl to this sub is like apples to oranges they are nothing alike. Of course I know a larger diamater coil doesn't always mean more power handling but in the case of a beast like this all you guys know it does. If this was a dc, sundown, fi,aa, or tantric sub you guys would all be talking about oh it's got a 4 inch coil that things a beast i bet it will handle twice what it's rated for. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
