ll_wwcnd_ll
That blazer is starting to get violent can't wait to hear it with all the bracing in. Thanks Justin yeah its getting louder just hope it meters louder and not just my ears playing tricks on me. I didn't tell you to brace it or anything Nope you sure didnt Kevin lol. I already notice the difference the lows hit harder and the higher 30s actually hurt now 2007 4.2L Chevy Trailblazer Crossfire Build6 Crossfire xs v2 15s3 Crossfire 8ks4 Crossfire 6.5 Loudspeakers 2 Crossfire ST-1 Super Tweets 1 Pair of Rockford Fosgate T2 5.25 Components 1 Crossfire C5 800.2 1 Crossfire 400.2's7 XS Power xp3000s 6 C&D Batteries3 Singer Alts 6 Runs of 1/0 OFC (Sky High and Welding Wire)SMD VM-1SMD OM-1Pioneer AVH-p4800BSBuild Log4th Order BL - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/189896-4th-order-crossfire-trailblazer-buildlog/ Flat Wall BL - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/198087-2007-42l-chevy-trailblazer-flat-wall-rebuild-build-log-4-crossfire-xsv2-15s-2-crossfire-8ks-xs-power-batts-singer-alts/ScoresMECA - 159.2 @ 37hzUSACI - 161.2 @ 47hzIASCA - 157.9 @ 47hz
ll_wwcnd_ll
So i finally got all the duct work to run ac to the very back where the amps are to keep them cooler because it gets pretty damn hot back there. One thing that sucks about trailblazers is that they have no rear AC like Tahoes and Suburbans so i have to run the duct work all the way to the duct inside my console. Fully sealed it off so no air escapes out of the duct where they connect. It looks like crap but does the job Runs from the console to under the wall then comes out by the back passenger door For now it is just blowing in the back area. When i seal that of the air will stay back in the back but this helps now 2007 4.2L Chevy Trailblazer Crossfire Build6 Crossfire xs v2 15s3 Crossfire 8ks4 Crossfire 6.5 Loudspeakers 2 Crossfire ST-1 Super Tweets 1 Pair of Rockford Fosgate T2 5.25 Components 1 Crossfire C5 800.2 1 Crossfire 400.2's7 XS Power xp3000s 6 C&D Batteries3 Singer Alts 6 Runs of 1/0 OFC (Sky High and Welding Wire)SMD VM-1SMD OM-1Pioneer AVH-p4800BSBuild Log4th Order BL - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/189896-4th-order-crossfire-trailblazer-buildlog/ Flat Wall BL - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/198087-2007-42l-chevy-trailblazer-flat-wall-rebuild-build-log-4-crossfire-xsv2-15s-2-crossfire-8ks-xs-power-batts-singer-alts/ScoresMECA - 159.2 @ 37hzUSACI - 161.2 @ 47hzIASCA - 157.9 @ 47hz
ll_wwcnd_ll
I finally did some more testing after the 2 center braces and all the 2x4s on the outside and i finally broke my 150 at 28hz at the Headrest. That might not sound like alot but im happy. I still need to seal off at the bpillar then the scores should go up a little. 150.6 @ 28hz 151.4 @ 29hz 151.9 @ 30hz 2007 4.2L Chevy Trailblazer Crossfire Build6 Crossfire xs v2 15s3 Crossfire 8ks4 Crossfire 6.5 Loudspeakers 2 Crossfire ST-1 Super Tweets 1 Pair of Rockford Fosgate T2 5.25 Components 1 Crossfire C5 800.2 1 Crossfire 400.2's7 XS Power xp3000s 6 C&D Batteries3 Singer Alts 6 Runs of 1/0 OFC (Sky High and Welding Wire)SMD VM-1SMD OM-1Pioneer AVH-p4800BSBuild Log4th Order BL - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/189896-4th-order-crossfire-trailblazer-buildlog/ Flat Wall BL - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/198087-2007-42l-chevy-trailblazer-flat-wall-rebuild-build-log-4-crossfire-xsv2-15s-2-crossfire-8ks-xs-power-batts-singer-alts/ScoresMECA - 159.2 @ 37hzUSACI - 161.2 @ 47hzIASCA - 157.9 @ 47hz
CleanSierra
Did you try 26 or 27 Hz? Because you're a good amount above a 150 at 28 Hz Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
SLAYER1805
If remember Phillip saying all he wanted to do with this build is break 150 He's doing that in the 20's so I'm guessing he's happy with it

ll_wwcnd_ll
So until i fully seal the sides off i have been doing some random testing here and there. After some MECA style testing i was able to increase my 27hz score and 26hz score. My roll off starts at 26hz once i get the rest of my power that score should increase a little bit 150.3 @ 27hz 149.1 @ 26hz 2007 4.2L Chevy Trailblazer Crossfire Build6 Crossfire xs v2 15s3 Crossfire 8ks4 Crossfire 6.5 Loudspeakers 2 Crossfire ST-1 Super Tweets 1 Pair of Rockford Fosgate T2 5.25 Components 1 Crossfire C5 800.2 1 Crossfire 400.2's7 XS Power xp3000s 6 C&D Batteries3 Singer Alts 6 Runs of 1/0 OFC (Sky High and Welding Wire)SMD VM-1SMD OM-1Pioneer AVH-p4800BSBuild Log4th Order BL - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/189896-4th-order-crossfire-trailblazer-buildlog/ Flat Wall BL - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/198087-2007-42l-chevy-trailblazer-flat-wall-rebuild-build-log-4-crossfire-xsv2-15s-2-crossfire-8ks-xs-power-batts-singer-alts/ScoresMECA - 159.2 @ 37hzUSACI - 161.2 @ 47hzIASCA - 157.9 @ 47hz
