DD M3b 0.5 daily?

Recommended Posts

Agreed. Got a guy around here with an M4 on .33, don't even get that hot. DD make strong amps and although there IS a possibility of causing damage, as with any amp, I would think it would be fine. Just keep an eye on your voltages and temps.....

You can run your amp at .5 ohm with good electrical. Most likely with impedance rise you will probably be close or way over 1 ohm, so you should be fine

You can't account for impedance rise when dealing with nominal impedance. Every enclosure is different and every frequency's impedance is different.

Unless you know what you are doing and have the tools to correctly measure what you are doing, then you shouldn't attempt without looking forward to a horrible end.

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.

I love car audio so much because I will never be done. I can never win, and I will never get it finished or perfect. It always has me coming back for more, I can never get my fill of it, but I get what I need.
