A buddy of mine wants to hard-wire a power inverter in his older Range Rover and is wanting to run it off the dist. block he has in back for his amp....anyone know of any problems that could come of that? Im thinking maybe some feedback noise but not sure.

I've done it before without issue. IF you don't already own one with the silly cigarette lighter dongle look for one with some screw down terminals to connect your power wires.

Depending what you plan to run, make sure you get a big one. A lot of the entry level size ones won't be adequate to properly charge some high performance laptops or power on a game system like x-box 360.

I was thinking of doing this myself. I already have the inverter installed since I need it for my job. I think it's a 2000W one
