flexinfusion Posted August 7, 2014 Author Report Posted August 7, 2014 So to wire up each cross over just run the speaker wire from the amp to which input on the cross over. Because I have a woofer input and a tweeter input. 2009 fusion Steeda Mods kenwood DDX418 RF T1675-s Front doors RF T165 Rear doors OLD SETUP: ab XFL 1222Audiopipe 1500d 2.5cu ft 32hz
yurvalentine Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 So to wire up each cross over just run the speaker wire from the amp to which input on the cross over. Because I have a woofer input and a tweeter input. Oh shit maybe I lied then, sorry about that. If they have separate inputs then you'll want a 4 channel the pair.
Stephen13 Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 The X-overs can be bi-wired. This would give each individual driver (2x tweets & 2x mid-woofers) their own channel of amplification. That being said they can still run off of a 2-channel amp as long as there are jumpers placed between the woofer inputs and tweeter inputs. 2011 Chevy Silverado LT 5.3L 4x4 Ext.-cab "Enjoy yourself. Stephen13 Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 No, from woofer + to tweeter+ and from woofer - to tweeter -. The amp would connect to the + and - of either the woofer or tweeter. Since they are jumpered together it doesn’t matter which. If there's a switch the X-over may not need the jumpers. Check the manual. 2011 Chevy Silverado LT 5.3L 4x4 Ext.-cab "Enjoy yourself. tyma1026 Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 you could use a 2 or 4 channel. If you are using two channel then use the tweeter output on the crossover. alaskanzx5 Posted August 14, 2014 Report Posted August 14, 2014 Did you bother to read the manual? RF his a simple diagram in the manual for the speakers. Or at least for all the RF speakers I've had. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
