Rockford 1000x2 won't power

I bought this amp about a few weeks ago "brand new in box" and it's clearly not brand new in the box because there's signs of use on it and after like a week one day it didn't turn on until I had been driving for 10-15 minutes. Now a couple days ago it did the same thing but it still won't turn on. Yes I've done the obvious which is check the ground, power and fuse and I know it's not the remote wire cause I have a remote wire going from the head unit 1000x2 then 1000x2 to my tweeter amp and the tweeter amp turns on. I also noticed when I unhook the amp and re wire it, it doesn't spark when I put the power wire in, yet the power wire is connected just fine on the battery and the fuse is wired up just fine as well. Any thoughts?

Have you tested the fuse?

So the fuse can still not work even if it's not burned or blown? Cause it LOOKS fine

Don't go by looks on a fuse. You can just check voltage at the amp's power inputs though.

Looking fine doesn't mean it is. I would test it to be sure.

Hmmm, I'll go pick up a new fuse and test it out. Might be the problem.

Now I've changed the fuse and it worked for a few minutes and then it started putting a distorted tone through to the right side speakers and only the right side. I've swapped power wire, rcas and even the head unit with the same results as soon has the amp sees power. Also, my amp has rockford CLEAN technology (basically a built on dd1) and it's tell me it's getting a clipper signal from the head unit, even after swapping headunits, I don't understand

Have you checked a speaker wire for a possible chassis grounding issue. When a speaker wire comes in contact with natural in the body, it will give the assumptions you're describing. If you took out(blew) a fuse, there's a reason why. And I know you're going to say, none of that changed or whatever, just go check. Stuff just happens, its a vehicle, stuff moves m go check speaker wires for exposed wire, possibly pinched somewhere.

If not, swap out the amp and see if that fixes the issue.

I've experienced what you were talking about with speaker wire grounding out. I have a small 4 channel running my 2 tweeters so I wired the mids to the other 2 channels and everything works fine except the fact that the distorted signal has messed up my driver side doors, now they aren't as loud and make a rattling noise almost ?
