sup guys can anybody point me in the direction of the correct ball bearings people use in place of idler pulleys?? iv'e searched around but there's like a million types and i cant seem to find out really which one i need. thanks in advance.

Don't use them. They will get got, seize up or get your belt hot to the point of shredding it.

well i was looking into them because with my belt on my tensioner pulley is totally maxed out and the next size belt up is like 4 inches plus so i think it might be too long and have not enough tension. its a triple alt setup on a chevy 5.3 btw. unless you know of a place that sells smaller then stock idler pulleys??

Idler pulleys come in all kinds of sizes for different cars look around and see if you can find a smaller one. What size is the belt you have and where is your triple alt kit from?

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

belt is 114 1/2 and bracket is from dc power.

Don't they offer a belt for that kit? I installed their dual alt bracket on. 5.3 for a friend and it came with the required belt. What's the number on your belt I'll check the belt book in the morning and see what's out there that's slightly bigger.

ive had my 114 1/2 on there for a bit but it always squeeled because of lack of pulley wrap i believe. mine is wrapped like the one in the first pic. second link is how i want to route the belt. i have the exact same everything as that guy. same alts and same kit.

then i seen this guys setup with the same exact alts and bracket so i seen which belt he had and ordered it. only to find out when i put it on routed this way my tensioner pulley is maxed out to the fullest so i didn't want to try to run it. i don't get how he has it on there like that with no issues. but i really want to have it wrapped like that as i don't like hearing squealing shit every time i step on the pedal. so i figure if i can find slightly smaller idlers i could route my belt that way and maybe it would do away with the squealing. even if it didn't its more wrap on the alt pulley which cant be a bad thing right? thanks for looking into anything bro.
