  1. 100 is pretty high. i see a lot of people run it at 80 but i personally have my lpf set at 63 or 50 i forget with a 24db slope and let my mids pick up anything above that. try it with different settings, best way to figure out which is best.
  2. yeah i don,t think they mentioned that. whoever was doing the test. maybe i just forgot....
  3. I'm just saying their website for information and specs is lacking. They have great customer service. I'm just trying to get the right ones. It's not mentioned whether their amps RCAs are the single ended or the differential input. well i haven't yet watched that video and i don't know the difference between the two. but i'm running the same exact rcas that you bought on 3 of my sundown amps and they all work just fine.
  4. i asked the same thing awhile back and somebody did a test on it with a scope to see if it was accurate or not. the clip light shows up just a little bit before you actually clip.
  5. yes 8 gauge will be fine for your sub wires, and the 16 will work for the remote. you could use a single wire run and just jump the remote to the other amp or just run the speaker wire and use both wires for seperate amps.
  6. lol so now sundown has to put which rca wire to get in their description.... cmon man really? the one you ordered will work just fine, hopefully you ordered the correct length.
  7. when the car is on does the voltage go up at all when you rev the motor?? does it go past 13.1?? if not i think the alt may not even be on and working at all. if your voltage is 13 with the car off i'm pretty sure your'e just running the system on battery power alone, which would explain the dips into the 11 volt range. just my thought.
  8. i dont know about the competing aspect but thats one sick ass wagon man.
  9. i let my xs d3100s get into the 8s or so by accident then got them back up to like 12.5 or so on a charger. then ran them in my tahoe for about 6 months all good no problems. then recently unhooked them for like a week or so and they don't really hold charge the highest they go truck running is like 12.7 just drive your shit all the time youll be ok!
  10. i just did my 01 tahoe and used almost 1 shop pack. this included all doors 100% coverage on the outside of the doors and 100 to 200% on the inside of the door, the rear panel area not so much but did most of it. and the back hatch i did like 2 to 3 layers of FULL coverage somtimes 4 on the inside probably waaayy too much but what the hell i dont want to have to do it again. for the roof i ended up doing some layers of 1/8" board and expanding foam so no deadener there. but yea still got like 10 sheets left out of a shop pack of damp pro. hope this helps.
  11. screw the haters its not even worth the time trying to deal with them. you inspired me and a whole bunch of people WORLDWIDE. shit i even bought a tahoe myself bacause of yours and what you did with it. keep up the amazing work and the informative videos i learned a bunch from watching!
