So if you don't have an Oscope or DD-1 you can't successfully?

Current Setup: 2002 Ford Focus SE (stock electrical)

-Kenwood Excelon KDC-X397

-Infinity Kappa 6x9's in each door

-Rockford Fosgate Prime R1200-1D

-2 12" Rockford Fosgate P3D2

Backups:

-12" Power Acoustik Mofo-122X in 36hz T-Line box

You can do it by ear, but you have to know what to listen for. Notice how when he goes to volume 61 at 3:51 the sound changes?

WTF? Hybrid parking? Really? What the hell is going on with these smug bastards?! I want gas guzzler parking right up front so i dont have to circle the parking lot 40 times and ruin the enviroment.

To the original post. You went from a 1200 watt amp and single 12 to a 1200 watt and two 12s. You could have had a lot less impedance rise with the one which produced a lot more power causing voltage drop. Now you doubled cone area which technically could be just as loud on half the power.

Lol I already told you in another thread don't use bass boost or the punch eq. If you have the punch remote level control that is different. As some have suggested, don't turn the gain up and down, get it set properly with a Oscope or a DD-1.

I knew not to have them up, that wasn't my issue... my issue, initially, was what to ACTUALLY set them at. Or at least a ball park estimate.
