will a 2 subs pull more current from an amp than a single sub even if the amp is tuned the same way as the single sub was? went from a single 2 ohm sub wired at 1 ohm to 2 subs of the same model but this time dual 4 ohm wired down to 1 ohm

Subs don't pull current.

If the impedance at the amp is the same then the load on it should also be the same. Adding a sub just divides the power sent to it (givin that all other variables remain constant).

I think what asking is if there will be a difference in the performance of the amp with two subs vs one.

how did you wire a single 2 ohm sub to 1 ohm? i'd say your amp was running 2 ohm befor and now it's running 1 ohm
