Mr Bigolsworth
Curious who uses track saws over table saws and how do you like them? I have a table saw but only cut 14 inch wide and have been looking at track saws. Starting to get into larger box's and need the proper tools to make precise cuts. Any suggestions or advice on a track saw? 2002 chevy avalanche Currently have: 2 dc xl 18 set of T2652-s scv-6k Ct sounds 75.4 270a mechman xp3000 d3400 Wanted: saz 200.4 Second set of T2652-s D3100's deadner

Weigel21
I have a smallish table saw I used to use, but now (well, as of a couple years ago) I use all the equipment where I work, which my place of employment is a truss plant for a local hardware store/lumber yard. We have a halfway decent table saw out there that has been built into an over sized table for cutting 4x8 sheets of plywood and we have a track saw setup, though it's built onto the wall, it's what they used to use for cutting counter tops before buying the new saw setup for such. I haven't ever actually used it, but I could see it working pretty good. The new saw they bought however is much easier/nicer to use, as it's automated. Pasta Prime
Looking sweet. Thank you. Its not perfect but it does the job. I really wanted to get a panel saw for breaking down sheets but having zero wall space in my garage it wasn't going to happen. Plus they are damn expensive for home use. I do enjoy building shop tools as much as I do boxes and what not. I just built a downdraft sanding box the other day so i can cut rings in my garage without so much MDF dust on everything.
