moredbs Posted August 27, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 27, 2014 alternator in,i was a little worried about belt slip,but it went right in with the oem belt and ran at 14.8 .i didn't use the factory harness because of the pcm control.hooked up a relay that mike singer sent me.battery light comes on the dash panel,but i could care less,everythings good! moredbs Posted August 27, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 27, 2014 just swapped out my old unit for this avh-4000 nex. i see a lot of guys like the 80prs for going active,and having a lot of control,but there is something about the double dins i like. it does have a time alignment ,but i don't know if its the same thing everyone talks about when going active.if anybody knows the answer to that let me know.
