MrSkippyJ
Anyone know why this happens? I can't tell if it is on the rear pipe since the cover goes all the way to the engine on that pipe. gally
usually it happens because of the excessive heat...its a common thing, nothing to worry about 2010 Chevrolet Cruze Radio --- pioneer mvh-200vbt Front/back --- alpine type s 6.5" Sub Control --- Pac LC1 Sub Amp --- GZPA 1.4K Sub --- GZNW 15XSPL D1 Battery - GZBP 12.2500X
MrSkippyJ
I also noticed that part of the chrome cover on that pipe is turning yellow around a seam, but not on the other pipe. Is it normal for one pipe to get hotter than the other? gally
pretty much yes.. it happened to me before while i was riding a moped for long periods of time(2-3hour rides) and when i got it home the pipe from the engine was just a mixture purple and yellow collor, also on my quad the pipe near the engine it turned yellow...and the tip of exhaust also appeared to get the same color... 2010 Chevrolet Cruze Radio --- pioneer mvh-200vbt Front/back --- alpine type s 6.5" Sub Control --- Pac LC1 Sub Amp --- GZPA 1.4K Sub --- GZNW 15XSPL D1 Battery - GZBP 12.2500X
MrSkippyJ
Cool! as long as it's normal I won't worry too much about it. Thanks for the quick response! MrSkippyJ
Hah, no worries. My right leg gets hot a fuck though when I have to stop. Almost makes me wish I had exhaust on each side rather than both on the right side. At least spread the heat out a little! TeamHT
I had that issue too when I first started riding (burnt legs) but fix your leg position. And wrap it with exhaust wrap. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
