Broke_Audio_Addict Posted September 4, 2014 Report Share Posted September 4, 2014 Not even close a busbar links multiple batteries together an isolator is a relay the opens and closes to seperate batteries from each other when your vehicle is turned off so your starting battery doesn't get drained so you can still start your car. Really the isolator is useless though because you shouldn't be playing with your car off especially to thepoint your voltage is so low your car won't start. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Broke_Audio_Addict Posted September 4, 2014 Report Share Posted September 4, 2014 Also should point out that having the isolator can cause harm to your alt if you drained your rear batts to nothing then started your car it would have to charge how ever many dead rear batts you have back up and it wouldn't enjoy that very much.
