Guest
why are the port walls all different sizes?
Cashdollar2009
Good work man! Nothing beats doing the research, asking questions, and building something that works. I too made the same mistakes converting the design to a cutsheet and pieces came up a little short with the port and the baffle. They only get better from here. Phaeton
i got like 100 + nails from a nail gun so it better be ha thanks what are the disadvantages of tuning in the mid 20hz. with that 10" tuning in the 20's will make it just play lower. 10's dont need a higher tune to play high because the cone area is smaller and less weight, so it has tight punchy bass rather a 18 has a large heavy cone. Correct me if im wrong, but thats what i remember someone telling me. thats why you weight passive radiators to get low response. 1997 subaru legacy outback Four 15's in a almost wall Rockford Fosgate t2500-1bdcp Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on tweets Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on highs Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midrange Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midbass Optima Yellow top batteries 270A Singer alt (working on a bracket for a second) Lots of Second Skin
Joe X
OP just a little advise, you could get a leak overtime in the shown spot so see if you can do a small fix there:
Ritch40
if OP can get to that area circled i would highly suggest he get busy with some fiberglass just to make certain that area does not become an issue down the road. resin and some good heavy weight matte on the inside and then some chopped up glass on the outside to make a 45* angle. id also suggest adding an additional baffle. CleanSierra
Rebuild the box. Take the skills you acquired from this one and apply them to the next. The reason your other box didn't work well was because you had virtually NO port area. What you had was basically a leaky sealed box. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
