This build is done already, and will have additions but this build log at this point will have a full start to finish UNSEALED wall build. Basically this is a 2009 chevy 2500hd with the 6.6 duramax. He brought it into a local shop named Audio Outlet in san marcos texas where i was recruited to do his whole build after they seen my car. The equipment being used is as follows JVC double din Sundown SA components Sundown 100.4 v2 Sundown NS1 v2 1 singer 320 small case hairpin 2 Sundown NSv3 18's 2 xs power d4800's 2 xs power d3100's TONS of stinger wire and gear a few other goodies also. The goal of this build was to make a clean and loud wall where there was leg room but it couldn't take away from the truck. SO LETS GET STARTED! This is how i found the truck. With the 2nd alternator installed, the small deadening done, and the components installed. THATS IT! So here are some first pictures i took of it. First thing i did was get some runs of cable in there. 2 runs positive 2 runs negative of stinger 1/0 YAY... running cable A little later. Skipped a few hours later and all the wires are run and taped down. Peep the sky high cutters Now we move on to the box.... This thing was a disaster when i got there, but i quickly changed that. 5.75 cubes per 18, 15.14 sq inches of port per cube tuned to about 32hz. Top port. Much MUCH MUCH better then when i got there. It was 8 cubes per, 3.45 sq inches of port per cube tuned to 41. (they had horrible calculations) And it was center ported. I don't have pics of it. But i fiberglassed the center port shut and made this thing a bad ass top ported wall. Things had to be done the best way i could. Trust me, i turned this build from a huge failure into a great success. Enjoy the build log. 70 more pics coming now. SANDING Nice and flat. We found some bad spots and decided to sand some of our primer off.. Paint.. Excuse the dust. IN THE TRUCK!!! Now it was time to make it look good..
