Zero_Tolerance_ Posted September 9, 2014 Report Share Posted September 9, 2014 I need an amp for a single FI SSD 12. I was thinking going with a Hifonics BRX1200.1D or even the 1100.1D.. Not sure if their Brutus line is any good. If not any ideas for a good amp in the 1000-1200 RMS at 1 ohm range? Didn't like the fact that it only takes 4 AWG either but I guess it's not a big deal. I'd like a cheaper one but don't want an amp that's gonna burn out and me have to buy another. Any help us appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Way more effiecient, cleaner, louder.. Look into Soundqubed, Crescendo, Sundown, etc.. Too many choices out there. What's your budget? That's all the info that was given on SSA's website. Even on EMF and Sundown page they don't list any details. EMF does have pictures of it on the dyno. So I'm not sure what they were testing in for those rating.. Either way I work at a RF dealer and can tell you the prime 1200 is am awesome amp. 1200 x 1 @1ohm, does rated and has a high efficiency (around 90%). Great little amp for the price. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
