krazz619 Posted September 15, 2014 Author Report Posted September 15, 2014 In a friendly experienced way ,all i am going to say is the sq750.1+hds252 is a very very good deal for some quality stuff that will last very long. Anything cheaper and your actually "loosing out" unless its some high quality used stuff. Edit* hds212 So you're suggesting I stick with SoundQubed's Sub and Amp over the Hifonics? I kinda like staying with that but just seeing all my options. 2015 Scion tC DieHard AGM Battery, Stock Alternator, with Big 3 Alpine CDA-105, Hertz Energy 6.5" 3 Way Components, Skar TX65 Coaxials Rockford Fosgate T2D215 Skar RP-1500.1D and RP-150.4AB
slowfkncar Posted September 15, 2014 Report Posted September 15, 2014 There are many amps you could choose from. pay 40$-60$ more and probably double the power and much more quality/reliability/efficiency , you will get much much more value then that 60amp class a/b. Yes the soundqubed 750 is one of them, per forum rules i cannot directly compare them for you. But feel free to pm me if you like. However,i am not knocking on anyones budget, if all you need is that 300/400 watt amp then by all means, take it. Be warned though, they do not last. And yes,i was one of them that owned 4 hifonics amps for temporary setups thinking i would get lucky because i have good electrical. Well what do you know, they all went to shit except the hfi1500 that i clamped 600 rms out of. Sad thing is they didnt even blow under load. They will rob a good amount of power from yoyr electrical just to make a little bit of power. Willing to bet you would have less voltage drop with a quality amp that does 300watts more.

Not sure what amp you're referring to, but all the amps I am looking at are Monoblock Class D's, and all have around 1k rms at 1ohm except the Soundqubed 750.1 2015 Scion tC DieHard AGM Battery, Stock Alternator, with Big 3 Alpine CDA-105, Hertz Energy 6.5" 3 Way Components, Skar TX65 Coaxials Rockford Fosgate T2D215 Skar RP-1500.1D and RP-150.4AB
krazz619 Posted September 15, 2014 Author Report Posted September 15, 2014 Can someone show me the way to a box design for 1 HDS212 and HDS312?? I'm currently searching and haven't found much. Mainly for 2 12's. And I know there is some info on SoundQubed's website, but I don't really understand it to turn it into a box. Thanks ahead of time. 2015 Scion tC DieHard AGM Battery, Stock Alternator, with Big 3 Alpine CDA-105, Hertz Energy 6.5" 3 Way Components, Skar TX65 Coaxials Rockford Fosgate T2D215 Skar RP-1500.1D and RP-150.4AB

They call it next gen super d class while using a/b configuration. Not really sure what the hell it is,even more of a reason to shy away.

Hifonics Posted September 16, 2014 Report Posted September 16, 2014 My opinion... get the HDS3 and the Q1-1200. Your electrical will take it and you'll enjoy it for much longer than the other setups you mentioned. Don't cheap out. Better to save and wait than to settle and regret it later. You'll need a battery. Just get the largest AGM battery that will fit under the hood. Good brands: XSPower, Northstar, DieHard Platnum, C&D..... etc. Do the big 3 and run 0 gauge in your car. It will give you more power by creating a better electrical flow in your car. I've been doing car audio for many years and I can tell you that the one thing I regret is wasting money on getting a small system, or a temporary system. You'll get bored of it and want more very fast. Just do it right the first time. 2010 F150 FX4-18" AA Mayhem-Crescendo BC3500d-Pioneer GM-D9500F 4-channel-2 Crescendo FT1 -2 Crescendo Neo Forte 6.5 -Pioneer AVH-P3300BT-6000K HID Headlights/Fog lights-All LED interior lighting-20% tint on front windows, 1% rear windows, 5% windshield strip-Big3 (XSFlex 0ga) -DC Power 270XP -Group 65 NorthStar AGM battery Coming soon/plans: -Build log-Blacked out mirror reflectors-Tinted tails/3rd brake light
