jayjay6888 Posted March 27, 2008 Report Share Posted March 27, 2008 I want to order a MTX TA7801 from sonicelectronix.com but i read the list of authorized dealers on mtx.com and sonicelectronix.com is a unauthorized dealer.... so i was just wondering if they were a trusty site and has anyone had any bad experience with them? I ordered a fosgate t40001 from them had no problems and there will warrenty it for a year. authorized dealer it would have been double in price. Was new in plastics and box with birth certificate. NEW NOT REFURB amp installed and has good voltage level coming out but have not heard system not done yet. But all checked out good. 04yzfr1 Posted March 31, 2008 Report Share Posted March 31, 2008 Finally got my set up done hooked up all connections tested with volt meter. All started good started to raise the levels of the amp and subs cut out, amp never went into protection or was under or over powered all on a one ohm load. Amp started to make a noise and them the smoke came. Now i will have to go through the return process. Will keep updated on there return process and customer service, also how long it will take. One of my favorite online retailers for sure.
