soundstream15 Posted October 2, 2014 Report Posted October 2, 2014 Figured I would meter in the port and did a 165.3 on a burp. And got to thinking what is the record for in a trunk. Not a wall
pa-pa-platypus Posted October 2, 2014 Report Posted October 2, 2014 most port wars boxes aren't walls.. and the record is over 180 lol chris fish did it i believe This isn't teeball. YOU DO NOT GET A TROPHY JUST BECAUSE YOU SHOW UP. Put the work in and then maybe get the respect when it has been earned 151.6 with single 12 at 41 hz 153.2 with 2 12's at 43 hz power: dd m4
afrakes Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 A 180 in the port equivelates to what spl level in the kick tho? Btw, what trunk setup did a 180 in the port? I know/have heard of the name, but have no idea on equipment. Vehicle: 2014 GMC Sierra 2500HD WT Head Unit: Pioneer DEH- Mids/Highs: Focal Integration ISC 165’s (front) Subs/Amps: TBD

REH Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 Didn't somebody pull like 180 or something ridiculous in the port off a single 8 a while back that had a lot of people upset?
nadcicle Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 I could have swore that ole Shocker Hal has walked all over Craigs score. I've seen videos of that guy doing a 185. Ask TaylorFade, that dude port wars all the time.

Ask TaylorFade, that dude port wars all the time. Craig butler did a 181 on the dash. I'm sure bigger numbers have been achieved in the port. TaylorFade Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 The official port wars and super port wars record is held by Craig Butler. 181.7db. His happens to be sealed on the dash, but good luck catching him. Especially with the new rules that disallow tubes or blowing into the sensor. There are no "classes" for port/super port. It's an open class. Doesn't matter that you have a trunk. And there is no "translation" between port and dash or kick scores.
