Cannoy Posted October 3, 2014 Report Posted October 3, 2014 Im trying to build a box for a 12" alpine type s, it will be used to listen to a lot of electronic music so I wanted to tune it to tthe lower end of the recomended range. Im using Torres and it seems impossible to get a box tuned close to 32hz for just one sub with a port area of 26 inches. The amp that will be used is a rockford fosgate prime 500. Should i just tune it a litle higher and hope it sounds good?
Cannoy Posted October 3, 2014 Author Report Posted October 3, 2014 none of the stuff has been purchased yet, so if anyone has a better idea on a sub i would like to hear it, i only picked the type s becuase they are around $70 on ebay and im trying to keep things cheap.

Cannoy Posted October 3, 2014 Author Report Posted October 3, 2014 im unsure of the max dimensions, its going in the back of a cobalt and the car is not here. The sub he chose is a rockford p3 12. i understand how to build a box, im just not sure what i should tune the box to.
