Retnuhbackwords
Well...was it? I only ask this question because of my inexperience in car audio. I'm assuming they were since they seem to have loyal customers. Also, are they actually as bad as people make them out to be? REH
They still do make some very good products. Just not the stuff you can pick up at walmart.

Broke_Audio_Addict
The old school stillwater designs stuff was top notch (mmm old solobarics). They still do have some good products as stated above just not the low end stuff. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Broke_Audio_Addict
Personally I think the L7's are garbage. Some people love them though. RainStryke
I'm not impressed with their amplifiers, got to listen to them up at a bestbuy before they got rid of the big demo area they had... Alpine products there were clean and clear when comparing to kicker. The Kicker CompR isn't a bad product in the right enclosure, but not as good as a lot of other brands at that price point. Their door/deck speakers are not that great IMO. Overall, they are over priced.
