Looking to get any and all information and/or opinions on these motors. I know it's a lot in the top assembly, but how do the motors potentially sound compared to other 4" motors? Anything you can offer I'll hear. I have a chance to get two of them. Thanks!

4hp based motors, some of the strongest 4in coils ever made.Black top motors are more of a burp motor, super tight gap 4layer coils max..RF silver top motors are more musical motors with a bigger gap and can use 8layer coils for more thermal power handling..my favorite 4hp motors a Eclipse Ti Pro motors with big gap

Those are nice. So the guy has SHD top assemblies for them. Heard musicality is pretty good, and they are more efficient to boot. How are they on music, or are they strictly burp motors?

Thanks....they can be musical but all setups I've heard tend to get peaky quick in the wrong box configuration...that's why they came out with the sliver top bigger gap version, much more forgiving when designing boxes.. Awesome small box subs like 2 cubes per 15 small

Black tops have a slightly tighter gap, but they can also be made for into a musical sub. Pretty much if you can pick up a pair of motors silver or black in good condition for less than 250 each you're getting a decent deal, anything cheaper then an even better deal!

The black tops? I've heard of guys running them in larger boxes for daily and it turning out real good. You talking music or burps? Because that's damn small.
