Had to grab a new 5A jigsaw, as my old 1980's saw would not cut the two layers of birch. Picked up some 1/2" threaded rod, nuts and large washers for horizontal supports. Will run across the box right around the placement they are on the top.... So far, this is where I am at.... Will get the three, 6" aeros in and the bracing done this week, sand it smooth and give it a try before I do the coat of poly. Once the box is complete and subs are in, I just need to install the 4 mid ranges and get a bigger amp! lol. Thinking of going with a Crescendo BC2000D @.5ohm, as my class limits me to 2.5k RMS. And I want to, will give me more airspace in the box as well as look awesome Gotta figure out tuning and all that when I put the ports in and figure out how to calculate bracing displacement, then I will know which way the subs will go. It's Execution Audio, which isn't the greatest but the AWG is true and I will be going such a short distance, I don't think it will matter. Will pick up frequencies above 120Hz, for the vocals and mid bass tones. These 8's are very heavy and beefy little suckers for the $32 I paid each!
