I am planning to do a flat wall with 4 HDC418s in my Tahoe, I was playing around with cone area hypotheticals and thought for my next build I should do a 4th order with 16 HDS15s. Both setups on the same power: 2 BC5500D That being said, what are the pros and cons of this? This does not have to be about the subs I listed, I mean generally what are the pros and cons of having 4 top of the line 18s vs 16 budget 15s from the same provider? That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
