rca splitters or what ?

Recommended Posts

I havent seen it yet I havent made it home yet but would it be easier with a pass thru

Doesn't matter if you use pass thru, still gonna need the y splits...pass thru will eliminate using the rear outputs from EQ to power mid-bass/sub amp...

ok home now i saw the diagram now i see what you mean. now just to be on the budget friendly side could i maybe use the hifonics amps instead of the nvx amps ?? here are there specs. NVX http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_40254_NVX-JAD800.4.html

Hifonics http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_76256_Hifonics-X800.4.html

speakers im powering up are nvx componets in the front with coaxials in the rear deck prv 8" mid bass woofers one in each door and skar ma 8 in the center consol

.

Hopefully someone can chime in and help you out on this one, never dealt with the two brands...but everyone I have seen mostly say to stay away from hifonics, unless you have the power to feed it....

I have a Hifonics sub amp, hate it! It does not do rated, even at close to rated voltage. The x800 has a little better build than mine, might get to rated. Hifonics would do the job, NVX would do it much better. How loud are your subs? Them NVX components are going to get MUCH louder on 178W dynamic than the 115W dynamic that Hifonics is going to supply. NVM amp will also be cleaner sounding too, Hifonics will probably distort at high levels. I feel ya on the money situation, I put an MB Quart on my RF Punch/ Punch Pro mids because of price difference...
