4-CT sounds Strato 18's in Grand Cherokee help !

In a grand Cherokee the best you can do is 10.5-11 cubes after displacements, keeping back seats. So even 4 15s won't work ported. Id sell 2 and do subs up port up. I left 8-10 inches from roof line and it got really loud. And could do hair tricks with all windows up. Mine was also two M1 level 5s on 4-5k

I'd say these volume specs are pretty consistent with what I've been able to fit. Frankly on that power you'd do better with a single high quality 15" or 18" than trying to cram too much cone area into too little box and then have to settle for sub-optimum port size and placement.

Even B-pillar wall will be cutting it tight on 4 18's in a GC. You should try to trade them all for 1 high quality 15" or 18" woofer. Sub up port towards the side is optimum if you want to keep back seats. I've built dozens of boxes for grand Cherokee, PM me if you have any questions on what has and hasn't worked for me.

Thanks for all the input, I put all 4 in and hooked up both 1200.1 to them. Didn't sound bad but was still missing something.

I re measured my boxes and doubled checked and my original disign would been ok. But I had to modify them boxes to fit &

Lost 1/2 cu ft per sub on bottom box & alittle more on top box.

After displacement I only got approx 11.5-12ft total. Not enough even for sealed, I needed 14cuft min so even tho it looks good it was a

Wasted build. But I had a idea, pull top 2 subs build a plate with square port and run the 2 bottom subs I'd have around 6 ft before port displacement.
