wL<3bass
Okay I have a convertible with a useless backseat unless your under 5 years old your not going to fit back there...so I'm thinking of a half-wall kinda.... it will be directly behind my seats. Going to prolly use two 12" l7s the 08 models (believe it or not they actually get louder and sound better than the previous model imho.) So the rough measurements I got was Height 21", Width 32", and Depth 17" for the port tuning I thought about 32-36hz if at all possible. Someone work your magic please. Btw, I'm saving for the stuff so it might be awhile before I get it all done but I will do a build thread once I get some of my stuff, I quit my job still have a few hundred left over in the bank and wanna try to get this car moderately loud even though its a convertible. One more thing I want the port about center in the box. Equipment I'm gonna buy: 2 x Kicker 200.2 for mid/highs, 2 x Kicker 750.1, 25ft of Kicker Hyperflex 1/0g wire, some Kinetik batts (later), and a 180 Iraggi alt. (later) Reason for the Kicker stuff is 1.) I like their amps 2.) I can get it cheap through my brothers work Sorry for the long story.... Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Will Edit: If anyone thinks I'm wasting my time/money feel free to chime in. aquill1
Sounds like fun, especially when you get stuff for less than what others get the stuff for! What you getting the hyperflex for? By for I mean price wise...I messed with that stuff up at circuit city I know full well why you'd want to use it! That stuff is pretty sweet isn't it! wL<3bass
One more thing going to go get my 2 x Kicker 200.2 I found $165 from my birthday that I completely forgot about (I have some money in the bank I could use kinda reluctant as I just dropped about $400 to fix a $200 car) edit: last night about 3 a.m. I was bored and decided to try using WinISD (pro alpha) and see if i could design a box well it came out with from a 5.33 ft^3 box that a 8" x 4" x 12" port would bring the tuning to 32.86Hz does this sound right?
