Really appreciate the help thanks, now I gotta find some1 to design me a box b/c I afraid I'll mess up the tuning and don't have the money to rebuild.

Have you ever done a convertible setup that was "loud"?

how much time is spent with the top up / down?

90% or more with the top up, I live in WV so its not real warm for long. I would like it to be loud for top up and down but mostly with top UP.

if thats the case then you will be safe tuning a little bit lower. (i would say 38-39) but expect to lose 75% of low bass once you "drop the top".

so 40-41hz would be good for top up and down?

After reading that I think I'm gonna scratch the whole system idea in a convertible, as I have never seen a loud convertible EVER and I'm not gonna waste my money for it to have loads of power and no bang.

Unless some1 can show me a vid or some numbers from a convertible it's prolly not gonna happen or I can get a hardtop which is $300-400.
