It should be common sense but unfortunately it isn't so common. Just be courteous and don't force feed the bass to people that have no choice, neighborhoods and red lights are 2 places I always turn it way down. People have different schedules and sleep habits, so just because I'm off and awake doesn't mean someone isn't sleeping in their house. Just lots of variables so there is not too many definitive answers. Just don't be a dick .

I try to be respectful to my neighbors, I try not draw attention to myself the police here love to pull you over real quick to search yo shit!! The way they see it everybody who has a booming system sell drugs.. but on the parkway pop the system and let all bang out.. sometimes i like to ride when i got shit on my mind after a long day at the shop or when the old lady starts her shit.. But I dont play shit like popping pu*%y sucking these nuts around red lights or in traffic its bad enough we get a bad name so when I bang out I do it with class..( sometimes )...lol

Most of my driving is on the highway, so I rarely turn it down. I turn it down at stop lights with a few exceptions... I do not smoke and I can't stand the smell, so I turned mine up in hopes my subs would repel the smoke from getting into my car. It worked better than expected.

Volume down windows up works amazing too :)

It was too nice out to put the windows up and I have manual windows... Once they are down, they stay down till I arrive at my destination.
