Average box for 12s

Hey people what is the average size for 12" subs. I know t/s parameters comes into play but guess what these subs aint got any info haha.

So my mate says he got them from south africa and that's the only info we gat. Subs claim to be 1000rms and he will be powering two from a 1600rms amp. So on average what volume you think would work for him??

1.5 to 2 cubes each ported or 1 a piece sealed.

Thanks. So stiffer suspension goes towards 2 cubes and vise versa right. These subs have loose suspension so wanna go on the smaller side

Have him post pics of the subs, maybe someone around will know specs, you can find a range of 1.25-2.75 net for 12s ported so no real way to know other than test boxes or pull parameters with a DATS or other methods. for the lazy (1.25+2.75)/2 = 2, there you go.

Thanks JoeX will try get some pics and post. So interesting that they come with 4 inch coils but are only 1000 rms lol
