ace_ventura Posted March 10, 2015 Author Report Posted March 10, 2015 ik think i messed up when mounting the l port. its a little bit out of place 0.5cm on the back. i don't know if this is bad? or should i rebuild the box... i also have a new amp since yesterday a ground zero 1.2000mk2 this puts out: 1x650 watt @ 4 ohm 1% THD 1x1200 watt @ 2 ohm 1% THD 1x1900 watt @ 1 ohm 1% THD 1x1500 watt @ 2 ohm 10% THD 1x2400 watt @ 1 ohm 10% THD i have a little bit cash extra now so i whas thinking of addin an extra subwoofer since i will have to remake the box and go with a design for 3 subs with the new amp. what do you think?
Joe X Posted March 11, 2015 Report Posted March 11, 2015 Don't need to repeat the box, the issue is very small, about doing 3 subs, not sure if it is a good idea since you can't wire to 1 ohm and so the amp will deliver less than rated, don't think you will experience that much of an increase in performance.

Did you meter the system ? black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a sealed box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.
