I would look at 275 or 255's for a 15x8, for 295s a 15x10 and sway bar relocation brackets would be better suited. Here's my stang on 15x8 Racestars and 235-60-15s. With 295s on the 15x8 the tire will buldge, meaning less contatct patch area and might stick out past the fenders.

As good as the Stars look, I went a different route. Got pair of these http://www.jegs.com/i/Cragar/260/3975812P/10002/-1 for $100. They're only for the track so fuck the funky look.
