box build 4 15s help.

i want to build a box for my 4 15s with (4) 6 inch aeroports tuned to 30hz but when i punch in all the numbers i checked out my port area and it was like 6sq in. is that bad? i heard it was suppose to be 9-12 sq in for aeros. what am i to do? i want aero ports, not really a fan of slot ports. this is my first box build ever and i want to do it right the first time

I went ahead and built my first box, with just a skill saw and an old fashion jigsaw. before I went ported I used to be all about sealed boxes, after I heard how much louder my cvr's got in a ported box I am never going sealed again. my box was inspired my joe x, im running two 1600s on four cvr 15s, each pair wired at 2 ohms so there seeing roughly 600 a piece. box is 17cubft gross and 13cubft net tuned to 31hz. threaded rod in the center of the box for bracing. this thing smashes the lows so hard my dash looks like its gna fall off. but don't take my word for it, check out my youtube video! I tried posting a link on here but it didn't let me, my channel is called Larrythestoner415. oh yeah another thing, I left my subsonic filter zeroed out, I havnt heard any bottoming out so far, the subs don't smell like burn even though I let full songs play at max volume, subs get warm however amps get pretty warm also. not warm enough for me to wanna install fans though
