06 Silverado re-build - DC XL 18's, DC 5.0K, 3Sixty.3, Mechman Alt, etc...

Does anyone use the remote for the DC 5.0K or similar amps? I feel like it is limiting the power somehow. Connecting it vs unplugging it sounds like it changes the power output.

Remote connected = less output

Remote disconnected = moar power

Not sure why this is. I really want to clamp it and find out exactly what it is pushing. My output is not what I expected it to be.

I'm using the lc-1 rca level control for my 5k's, never used the ones the amps came with, been very happy with it! System looks awesome man!

Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are!

I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating!

My build log: 10k center console with 4 DC Audio XL 10's powered by 2 DC Audio 5.0k amps 5 xs batteries and dual DC Power 300xps alts

Thanks. I am currently using the 3sixty.3 to control the main volume and sub stage.

I need to strengthen the back wall. Once I start playing below 30hz the back wall does not like it. I'm currently using the tennis ball trick between the bed and cab. It helps but is not a permanent fix.

Quick video of my wife helping out with a little hair trick.

Still not satisfied with the overall output - so the project continues.

Recently Ordered:

- 1 additional XS Power D3400 to help with voltage drop

- All required connectors, fuse blocks, etc...

- 1 SMD DD-1 for setting gains
