Sound deadening needed here?

Recommended Posts

I'm going to be covering the entire back wall of my F150 supercrew with a sheet of plywood (bolted on), enclosure will be bolted to this, subs and port firing forward (not a wall).....should I still add some sound deadening material to the back wall paneling before covering with plywood or will it not be needed?

Thanks!

your florr should be ok. i mean when it comes to deadner 300% coverage or gfy. but the floor has allot of Bends and contours, so it's very strong. floors rarely rattle however keeping road noise out is a huge plus!

when i finally get my new car (dream car) i plan ont at least 300sq ft of either second skin or the new sky high. iwant every possible part that can have deadner on it... to have deadner on it. even the damn pillars!
