candyman74 Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 i have zr1000 that im fixing for a friend that would make a nasty sound out the subs and then shut off. will i tested it out on my work bench and when i turned it on i noticed that the voltage would drop really fast with no rca's or speakers hooked up to it. so i unpluged the crossover card and it kept its voltage at 12v. then when i disconnected all the power from the amp it still read 12v but when i bridged the power and turn on together it caused the voltage stored in the amp to discharge. any help would be appreciated.

Unless you are a tech and know how to diagnose, even something that may sound simple may involve much more work.
