Going to get a cheap chinese tube preamp kit just to practice soldering/assembling. "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand. We're talking high voltages here (hundreds of volts) that can zap the shit out of you. Possibly even kill you under the right circumstances.
