When is it too much bass?

Not sure if trolling?

I guess I'll answer

There really isn't such thing as to much bass.

I've sat in cars breaking 150db and I've had a few setups that were low 30s and up.

It feels good to sit in a car that's just insane but at the same time to sit back and relax to a sound system that has a well balanced setup and just cruise down the road is nice as well.

Imo, chasing numbers is a tiny part of the hobby.

You still have

Customs work with your own twists

Clean wiring

Sleek design that just simply fits as a whole

Clear highs

Mids that bring it to live

Bass that gets your heart pounding.

Is there such thing as to much bass?

No

However it's still nice to be able to hear the entire song.

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

When you can't hear the music, which means you upgrade your mids and highs, and in return you upgrade your substage, which makes you wan't louder mids and highs, etc etc..

It's only too much if it collapses a house

I used to have a level 5 15 on a crown XLS5000 in my room. Don't ask how I got the amperage I need from a wall socket. Just don't. LOL

It'd rattle the leaf gutters just outside my window. Had to make sure my shelves were spaced out from the wall, put some foam in between the back board and the shelves themselves so they don't rattle. I kind of wish I still had it, but I ended up selling it to fund the car

Well.... I mean.... Bowman is bordering on the upper end of this. And you can't even sit in Rowland's car when he goes balls out. Not uncomfortable but dangerous. Zach Mett's van gets bailouts all day.
