Swampy Posted December 17, 2014 Report Posted December 17, 2014 im running two DC Audio m1 level 5 18s, and they are rated for 2200W RMS. my subs are each dual 2s and I have them wired in parallel for a .5 total impendence. right now, I have them on an aq2200 and they just need more power...they practically beg me to be fed. Im tossing around ideas for a bigger amp so that I can keep everything at .5 ohms and not have to take those heavy bastards out of the wall just to rewire it all. im looking for something in the 5k range that isn't gonna cost me an arm and a leg to get it. if anyone has any input to help me out, id love to hear it. I don't claim to know how to solve anything, I just practice the basics. There is nothing worse than wasting hours over a problem that should have taken 5 mins. Anything I post and claim to know, I know simply because of a lesson learned from a mistake on my part.
