Hey guys awesome forum, I just learnt about this place and I have been reading around for the last 3 hours! I thought I would share with you my current ride and its progress. I have done everything myself so far.

Specs:
Ford Focus 2006 Zetec auto
Kings lowered springs
K&N Air Filter
After market headlights and a few extra LED's here and there
Rather expensive personalised number plates.
Panorama 2 Dash cam

System:
Optima AGL 975CCA Battery
Soundstream 40 Farad Cap (I will cop shit here for this but it looks cool haha)
Hifonics BE 1700WRMS Mono Class-D
2x Rockford Fosgate 15" P3D4 Subs in 18mm satinboard box mated, glued and nailed. Covered in black and white vinyl wrap
Standard Alternator
FatMat Sound insulation
4 gauge cabling
JVC KD-R826BT Headunit (came with car)
Standard Blaupunkt component speakers (from what I was told)

Ebay no name digital volt & amp meter.
150A Circuit breaker

Got 140.3DB @ 41 htz (test tone) and 139.8 DB (music) in a local sound off before I had the new battery, cap and sound insulation.

I have futher plans and a few questions for you guys. I plan next to just get some wheels and tyers because it needs them soon, but after that I will be looking at a bigger (better?) amp for the subs and then installing some good amped speakers into the rest of the car. I also would like to upgrade my headunit.

Thoughts? suggestions? hate? let me hear it guys because I only want to improve :)

The box and port appear to be on the small side in the pics.

I'd shoot for

6-6.5cuft

60-80" if port

Then either a 1k or 1500 watt amp.

Subs up port back or to the driver side

That should help get a better score the meter. I could see a 143-145 out of that.

Great looking install by the way.

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
