Masterbasser Posted December 18, 2014 Report Posted December 18, 2014 yea always go with alternator before any batteries. batteries go dead after a while neways no matter what kind. a good alt could last a long time. if i was building a big setup id order amps first then alternator, then ur speakers/head unit and wiring then go for batteries that way you will know what kinda power you need to push those amps then what speakers match up to amps Kenwood excelon ddx795 3 370 amp CES alternators (audio side only) McLaren dome tweeters Crescendo 6.5 ultra neos NVX JAD800.4 4 PA x4 SPL 18's 4 Digital Designs m5's at .7 ohms each 2 K2 80 ah lithiums 3 group 31 agms Ledglow million color (12 piece) 2007 Yukon xl

Thanks not if you are running an amp to each sub, might wanna sell the two mono amps and get one amp so you can wire it at 1 ohm... Aj11 Posted December 18, 2014 Report Posted December 18, 2014 if your only running 1800w right now at 2 ohm you don't need a alt, well "need" a alt. a good battery will do fine. but if you are already planning on upgrading then by all meens get the alt. also, singer baby yea! only way to go imo. but both are great brands. jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)
ron Posted December 18, 2014 Author Report Posted December 18, 2014 I wasn't sure about the 1ohm.Thanks So now i will get a better amp. Any ideas? What would max out my subs. And i will sale the two amps. I think the two amps are taking to much battery power and it would work better with one amplifier.

This might be a good upgrade, very stout and efficient amp, and probably more efficient than those kenwoods, I had one of those mono's and those things are very power hungry http://www.soundqubed.com/Q1-2200D_p_31.html 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
