PURE~PRESSURE Posted January 1, 2015 Report Posted January 1, 2015 Whats good everyone, i've been a guest on SMD's forums for sometime now and I thought it was time that I signed up and start showing some of my own work. Long story short watching SMD's youtube channel and this forum have really made and impact on how I work on car audio now. Now i've already started the build (1month in) but today I will be removing the panels on my Accord to show you the work that has already been done that way you guys can see the build from start to finish. All the wiring for the Mids and tweets are already ran but I will be adding split loom to clean some of it up. I will have a ton pics by the end of the day but for now I will show you some of what will be going into the build. My 2011 Honda Accord Sedan (yes I know the Bucs suck lol) System layout Stay tuned people I promise there will be pics today.

thefourth Posted January 1, 2015 Report Posted January 1, 2015 I like the car! Thanks alaskanzx5 I might just do thatI can recone a sub myself. About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows came to this thread to recommend soundqubed and ct sounds. OP goes with soundstream. oh lawd.

PURE~PRESSURE Posted January 2, 2015 Author Report Posted January 2, 2015 Forgot to let everyone know I do realize that the Autotek SM 1600.2 is no where near as much power as I should have on the Mid~Bass/Range speakers but this is a (slow budget build lol)So sooner or later it will be swapped out. But for now it really pushes the speakers loud and clear so it will do for now. PRV 6MB200 ~ Rms(( 100/200Max )) PRV 6MB300 Sealed ~ Rms(( 150/300Max )) AmericanBass Sealed SQ 65CB-x ~ (( Rms150/300Max )) J&B W7-347 8" Musical Woofer ~ (( Rms125/250Max )) So roughly 525WATTS Per side on ((2channel amplifier)) But I just want to send a true 125WATTS per speaker. So in the future I will be looking for a good amplifier that can push a good 500WATTSx2 at 2ohms. On another note I did get some things done as i said I would earlier for you guys. 5% is a necessity!!!!!! Pops 04 Ford F-150 still runs like brand new. Bare trunk Peel N Seal (( Budget build need I remind you lol)) Had some old carpet padding laying around so wth...lets deadin with it lol. Paint stripped for soon to be placed grounding block .This will be used for the second battery and the APCL 15001D Amplifier grounding. I will be changing the split loom on these enclosures to blue intsead of the black. More pics in a sec
PURE~PRESSURE Posted January 2, 2015 Author Report Posted January 2, 2015 Speaker wiring Pics ,but first lets start with two teaser pics!!! And yes I will be showing the amp rack build from start to finish. 2 Runs of 14 gauge speaker wire for the two 8 " JandB woofers. Also 4 runs of 18 for the 4 bullet tweets. Here you can see the four 5.6k bass blockers for the bullets. Plenty of room for the amps to be mounted under the seats. PRV 6MB200 in the kicks. Yes i will be changing these in the future. The Mid range sealed back 6's are in the doors. I chose to go with PRV 6MB300SEAL sealed back speakers in the rear doors because I really dont wanna be cuttin on the door panels due to the fact I make payments on the car. Got one more post with pics coming in a sec.
PURE~PRESSURE Posted January 2, 2015 Author Report Posted January 2, 2015 Some of the equipment 45 feet of KnuKonceptz 4 gauge wire ordered from their site. KnuKonceptz 4 gauge wire and 35 feet of some old 4 gauge I already had from previous builds. The thing about this wire is ive never heard of this name before but surprisingly its slightly bigger then the knukonceptz. Toggle switches for leds and grounding blocks. Its a must that include terminal blocks in my builds. Easier to run multiple wire and it looks clean AF. The terminal that is already wired will be going behind my deck for a cleaner look and it simplifies all the wiring that will go behind my deck. Need i remind you ((budget build)) lol I will be re-painting the Concept amplifier for a cleaner look.
knowledge Posted January 2, 2015 Report Posted January 2, 2015 great budget build. although u have the speakers scattered every were, I'm not to found about big bulky boxes in the rear deck and in the foot rest. if it was me and knowing this would be a budget build and don't wanna cut panels, i would had fiberglassed pods for most all the mids and highs in the rear middle seat going down towards mid front. would still sound amazing and I'm actually doing one now holds several 10's one amp, bullet tweets and super tweet horn. saves space in a small amount of room with out cutting anything. REFF'SMy linkEBAYhttp://feedback.ebay...ck&myworld=trueI love car audio so much because I will never be done. I can never win, and I will never get it finished or perfect. It always has me coming back for more, I can never get my fill of it, but I get what I need.
PURE~PRESSURE Posted January 2, 2015 Author Report Posted January 2, 2015 Yea i'm not going to lie when I first started building those enclosures in the rear deck I wasn't to sure on the outcome either, but It actually sounds really clean . Far as fiberglass i've never even worked with the stuff honestly lol. Yes I know that's pretty weak. But il post some pics that will give the enclosures more justice.
evermaxx Posted January 2, 2015 Report Posted January 2, 2015 uh... Team Subsonic Lows Get your garbage EMF products of my amp bitch Man....it makes a nice work bench
