Miguels
you can go either 2 12's with a 5k amp.. true 5k amp or a 15 sp4 on 3.5k amp. the 2 12's would be louder due to cone area and more power. if youre willing to remove the back piece it might give you more room to play with my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/

Miguels
depends on the power.. 3 group 31 if you go with 5000 watts or 2 if you go with 3500 watts.. if you go with 1 15 you can put the batteries in the cab behind the seats just get AGM batteries so they wont leak my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/

kirill007
What brand 12's are preferred? Who makes the makes the best amps Depends on your goals. How to choose a amp: Step 1: Find out how much power you want/need. Step 2: Select from a list of good brands For example:JBL,Rockford Fosgate, JL audio, Sundown audio, Kicker, Pioneer, Alpine, MTX, Cerwin Vega,Soundqubed, Rainbow, Audison, Hertz,.. Step 3: Check their prices (and looks if that interests you). Step 4: Decide on which one you want and don't come asking if you should buy X or Y eventhough they both are good amps. Step 5: Learn how to properly set gains and crossovers. Step 6: Enjoy and don't say all the time that you got X amp and everything from brand X is amazin and it's the best thing ever. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
