corey0928 Posted January 5, 2015 Report Share Posted January 5, 2015 game changers only happen at the end of the game.. now look at it this way if running into the kicker would have happen in the last 5 seconds of the game it would have changed the game and people would have gone crazy over it. the fact that it happen early in the game it didnt affect it.. plays that get called 1 though 3 qt are not game changers. calls in the last minutes do.. Game changers can happen in the first half too or in the 3rd quarter too. If something missed happens in the first half that would have been a touchdown and instead been called incomplete or whatever that can be a momentum swing. If running into the kicker happens with more than 5 yards its not a first down. What penalties stalled drives that weren't penalties in quarters 1-3? What stalled or kept drives alive drives that were or weren't penalties?. I'm not 100% blaming refs but think about it like this there were plenty of calls that went unnoticed for both teams. The lions were a better team for most of the game they should have won. Even if the pass interference was picked up, why didn't dez Bryant get called for running onto the field with no helmet and being no part of the play? Why not go for it on 4th and 1? But when jerry jones says he's never seen a play get so far then overturned you wonder what they had on their minds. No doubt...but other calls were missed too, and next week I'm sure there will be more missed calls. we caught a nice break...but we're talking about the Cowboys...and because its the Cowboys, we're gonna hear about this at least all week. No other team has so many haters than the Cowboys...or at least that's how it seems.
