SkarredSierra Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 you cant run a dual 2 ohm sub at 2 ohms. only 4 or 1 ohms. and y not just get a hifonics brutus 1400.1? u could run that at 1 ohm and wouldnt have to worry bout burning up your subwoofer. also if you do buy a hifonics amp buy the brutus line. they are the only ones that do rated (or close to rated).

Aj11 Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 i wouldn't get a sq amp, gonna pay more for the same. i would get a brutus (hifonic) 2400 and run at 2ohm. get a dual 4ohm sub. that way when you want to add down the road (because we all do) you have the power on tap. getting another hd3 dual 4ohm 15 with the first one will give you a final ohm load of 1ohm. not to.mention it will be less on your electrical now. worse thing Is spending $200/2500 on a amp and 3 months later wanting more and having to buy either another amp or selling and buying a different amp. spend the extra money now to be happy later. its always better to buy a bigger amp then you need. especially if you're a basshead and constantly want to be louder. the hifonic brutus 2400 is only $250 (instead of $400 lol) so you'll have more then enough to power the one sub at 2ohm and if you decide to get 2 15s, enough to power both at 1ohm. jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)
