That search tool at the top right is a great way to get information on stuff like this.

Welding cable is perfectly fine to use.....I got mine from welding supply.

It's very flexible......you can get high strand count if you're worried about that.....I didn't and I don't have any problem running it.

Maybe the search hates me.

Thanks for the response. This is what happened when I tried to search "welding" and "Welding wire"

I usually google whatever topic I'm looking for followed by "steve meade"......works well for me.

There are some other online companies that sell good welding cable too.....you'll have to search on here to find the company names though.

Someone on here mentioned the other day that one company is having a pretty good sale going on right now.....look in the wiring section, you migh be abe to find the post in there.

welding cable is fine to use. its usually cheaper and has better insulation then car audio cable. only drawback iv'e seen is its stiff as hell. but if you're not having to do crazy routing of it then you'll be just fine.

I used 1/0 welding cable when i upgraded the Big 3,that was about 4 years ago and no problems.

The charge wire going from the Alt. to battery runs along the top of the intake,so i wrapped it with some high temp tape to give it a little extra protection from the heat.
